i haven't posted an update in a while! things change so quickly; i wish everything would just slow down a bit. however, i am very excited for the winter holidays. its hard to have a bad time when its halloween/thanksgiving/christmas time!!

wow look at me ! i am actually updating my website in a timely manner. currently, i am feeling a little bit under the weather. i'm not sure if its from a cold or working too hard during the week, but i really hope i can feel better before work tomorrow! i dont want to miss any more days so i can use my pto for something fun. ^^! my boyfriend recently bought us a ps5 ! it is super cool and super fun, we have been playing a lot of games on it. in fact, that is what we have been up to for most of the weekend because the weather is so hot outside. i hope the weather cools down so i can resume fun outdoor activities!

wow! time passes quickly! and a lot changes in such a short amount of time! i didn't realize how much was different until i went to write this post and thought about how much i had to say. first of all, my sweet bf moved in with me!! i am so excited to have someone to check for scary monsters for me and collect all of my packages. another new thing going on in my life is that my bf got to meet my family and now every1 is friends. we all spent the fourth of july together and i thought it was a pretty good time. taking him back to my childhood home does make me feel like im 16 again tho. ;p

let me try to update you on everything i've been doing these days. i feel like i have really accomplished my goal of becoming good at cooking and baking. i am actually impressed with my abilities lately. i can actually cook without even looking at a reciepe! i still have to consult receipies for baking, but thats sort of a different type of thing. i've picked up painting again as well. living on my own has giving me a lot of more responsibilities, but also, everyday is a new adventure. i've done some really fun and exciting things. i even went to a place where i could see a WHITE TIGER. i love tigers because they are just like kitties (my second favorite animal). i'm looking forward to all of the fun things i will get to do in the future.

today, i did something pretty silly, i went to mcdonalds (again) because i had been searching hard to get this garlic sauce that was branded with jjk characters. I actually found it! now i have to take a break from going there because im starting to crave it all the time which is so bad for me!! i also took time to finally update my website. my plans for the week include going to the gardens with my new friends !

hi every1!! it's been quite some time, but i've been really busy living life! so much has changed since the last time i posted. first of all, today is a SNOW DAY. i had no idea that adults could even have snow days, but it turns out that they can!!1! i have really been enjoying my day getting paid to do nothing. most recently, my friend and i saw a movie called "anyone but you" it was very cute ^_^! it is a play on much ado about nothing, my favorite shakespeare play. For a modern rendition, i actually loved it. i laughed so much because it was ridiculous. i think the director did a very good job taking 1500s jokes and putting them in 2024. it also put me in a very valentine's day mood.

let me try to update you on everything you missed in the past 5 months ^^! first of all, i have a bf now and he is very cool and silly and carries heavy things for me:3. i alsomade a bunch of new friends; i hang out with them at least once a week and am always laughing. i learned how to cook and also how to bake and i am really good at both! my favorite thing to bake is probably this orange-zest cake. it is made with oranges and choccy chips with a rosemary glaze (i add extra choccy chips when my bf is not looking :p)

so much has changed in such a short time. its really a testament to how you never know what the future holds and how much fun you can have! i wish i could go back and tell myself in august that the future would be so much fun! i've never felt more like myself than i do right now!!

i got the email today that i am all set to move into my new place on thursday! i am really looking forward to having a place to call my own. i'm nervous for this new adventure, yet, excited, to see what new things await me in the future!! today is a bit of a shorter entry because all i really did was watch tv and pack xD! i wanted to spend some time working on my website because i won't have internet again until saturday! yikes!! how will i ever get through this D:!

pray for me to survive my 4 days sans internet. it will NOT be easy for this angel ^^!

today i went to a convention! ^o^! I cosplayed nene from toilet-bound hanako-kun! i was able to find some really hard to get sanrio merch, and even a cinnamoroll plush! how cute! I was able to meet lots of people wearing cute cosplays. I got complimented so much and even met a little girl wearing the same cosplay as me. i had to leave after a few hours just from the fatigue. i got burger king as well which made for a funny picture. (its not often you see someone dressed as an anime girl eating fast food!). The con was a bit smaller, but I had a lot of fun today. i am really looking forward to going for day 2 tomorrow.

i'm also planning to come back to the same convention center in october for another con. i'm wondering if i should reuse the same cosplays or plan something different. i'm leaning towards rewearing the cosplays because i spent so long working on nene's wig xD. My mom also surprised me today by getting me tickets to go to the symphony with her and my sister as a way to celebrate her birthday. i have never gone to the symphony before. i wonder if i could create a music-themed egl outfit to wear...

time to go work on tomorrow's cosplay! it wouldn't be a con without a little last minute outfit change!
